Montflanquin was founded in 1256 by Alphonse de Poitiers. Why not relive these times by going to the Medieval Fête in one of the most beautiful villagers in France on AUGUST 13, 14 & 15th this year.
From the evening of Saturday the 13th through to the night of Sunday 15th the townsfolk turn out in medieval costumes. You will be entertained by troubadours, dancers and singers. Numerous artisans will show you their skills and encourage audience participation.
Events:
Saturday evening 9 pm: Concert Temps Clar, Ouverture de la Taverne du Pendu.
Sunday evening 6 pm: Tournament of the Black Prince (who stopped here)
Sunday eveing 9 pm: Banquet followed by fireworks
Monday evening 9 pm: Grande Parade followed by fireworks
So come along, step back in time and enjoy the atmosphere.
